Keep in mind that Chebe Souffle is a SEALANT. As mentioned, this sealant forms a protective barrier over the strands and locks in moisture. We have finally formulated a NATURAL moisturizer that should be applied prior to Protein Pouf Chebe Souffle. Our Jamaican Sun Splash is finally here and it provides all of the hydrating nutrients and humectants that the hair strands thirst. Once our Jamaican sunsplash is applied, you can then seal in its moisturizing nutrients with our Chebe Soufflé

Let me tell yall about a lil company called Protein Pouf. I’ve been using these products for years and LOVE THEM. Then once I transitioned my girls over, I never looked back. Rewind to about 7 months ago, my daughter got a braid tangled in her natural hair when taking it down. She panicked and cut the entire thing, real hair and all. Check the growth now though! To know her hair (4C) is to know: It be thirsty. The oil and soufflé combo have been the only products to hydrate and promote healthy hair growth. I truly don’t use anything else on her hair. Needless say to, Protein Pouf has lifetime customers and will always have my recommendation. (in the pic her hair has NOT been blow dried. Only washed, conditioned and product has been applied. It’s actually still damp as well.)

Both of these products smell really strong, and not in a way that I enjoy, but despite the smell, the chebe is a champion at sealing in moisture in my once extremely dry hair, and while I can’t say that the oil has CCCAlopecia in the areas on my scalp, not has any other medication. The oil is very moisturizing and non irritating on my sensitive scalp. I use these products in the late afternoon when I’m at home and allow the smell to dissipate before I go to bed…the effort is worth it for the results.

This review is specifically for this combo… These two products restored my hair. My routine with this combo consisted of a weekly soufflé application and oiling my scalp every other day. When I went to get my ends clipped (a day or two after this photo), the beautician encouraged me to continue the hair regimen I was currently using. As you guys can see on the first pictures, my hair was thin in the back. I always had thick hair but it started thinning after going through a lot of stress and losing lots of hair. Absolutely the BEST!! I can't say enough good things about this combo! My hair was coming out at the root daily after covid. I thought I was going to go bald. I saw this ad on IG and thought I'd take my chances. So, I got a lot of my hair cut (before pic) used both the butter and oil and no more shedding instantly! I too have tried different growth oils I saw on Instagram. This one actually gave me visible results. I bought the oil and the cream/butter. Pros: 1. the butter, although it looks thick, it dries clear and does not cause me or leave me with buildup. The same for this oil. Therefore, I do not need to wash my hair more than once a month. I wear my natural hair in twists. I have noticed that my roots are no longer rough. It may be these products or the fact that i started using them and leaving my hair in twist. My roots are softer as well as my twists. I apply the oils to my roots and length of my hair. 3. I like the texture and how thick the oil is. It is not too thick. I can't comment on growth because I haven't straightened my hair and I have been cutting off my relaxed hair. Cons: I only have a con with the butter texture. I wish it was creamier. I mixed mine with a bit of another product to smooth it on easier. I am told you can warm it. I haven't tried that yet. The butter and oil goes a long way. I will definitely be reordering a bigger size of the oil. I will probably order the same size of the butter. Overall, I love that it makes my hair softer and leaves no buildup!

I previously had locs but cut them off to a fade in the Summer of 2020. My hair was growing so slow! I stumbled across this product and was nervous because I found it via IG.
