Here are your directions for use:

·        Step one: Take photos of your hair to track progress!

·        Start healthy: Clip dry, brittle and split ends, if applicable

·        Apply a few drops of India’s Secret Ayurvedic Growth Elixir to scalp and massage for 1-2 minutes at least 3 times a week. Consistency = results.  A little goes a long way! This is 100% natural and also safe for kids (Please do a small 24 hour test patch to assure there are no allergies). You do not need to wash this oil out. This oil can also be used as an overnight hair mask for those with type 1-2 hair

·        Spritz your hair with our Jamaican Sun Splash Conditioner Spray. This adds moisture, and  feeds your hair with nourishment, vitamins, and humectants. It also detangles, hydrates, and softens drastically.  

·        Seal in that moisture with our Chebe Souffle Hair Sealant. Chebe souffle creates a protective barrier over your strands which helps to keeps the moisture locked in and prevents breakage. Apply Chads Secret Chebe Soufflé to your hair strands as often as needed to keep your hair strands strong and moisturized to retain length. You can leave this in for as long as your style (including protective styles) lasts, there is no need to wash it out after applying. If you have type 1 or 2 textures of  hair, you can also use this as a hair mask. Sleep with a silk or satin head cover, and wash it out in the morning. You can also wear a plastic bag on your head for a few hours during the day instead of overnight mask. There are no adverse effects. Overnight is ok!  It’s also GREAT (and very safe for kids). This is 100% organic with no chemicals or preservatives, so scorching temperatures in transit might change the consistency of the product. No problem, throw it in the fridge for about 20 minutes if you prefer a more solid soufflé (text us if its completely melted). Store it in a cool dark place to maintain viscosity and longevity.

·        Try to stay away from flat irons, heat combs, and blow dryers

·        It’s imperative to sleep on a silk or satin pillow case to prevent friction, frizz, breakage and dryness. (Cotton absorbs moisture and will dry out your hair)

·        It’s also extremely important to wear a bonnet nightly to prevent dryness, friction and breakage (especially those with type 3 and 4 textures of hair). This also locks in loads of moisture

·        Protect the ends of your hair, if applicable (Protective styles work best. If you’re a wig wearer, a wig cap is always necessary, otherwise the friction of the wig will dry and break your hair). Our Jamaican sun splash is a great protective style aid. Spritz daily

·        Drink lots of water

Hi, I really wanted these products to work for my son. He has eczema so his scalp is drier than most. I like the spray that made his hair feel good. The oil was a little drying to his scalp after a week of use, it was no longer moisturizing his scalp causing more drying. The lotion is nice but once his scalp absorbs it an hour later he is scratching his head severely. I did see that you have a brown cream with Batana in it. I will try that cream instead for him in the future. Thank you.

Here I am with the update I promised! My low density low porosity hair has been growing about 1 inch per month. I’ve been keeping it braided down, misting it nightly with SunSplash/cloud mist, and oiling with Batana and my Ayurvedic oil. After that, I wrap it with a satin scarf to help lock in the moisture and nutrients. I deep condition with Batana or Papaya Palooza biweekly or monthly. That’s pretty much my routine… I’ll be posting my next update mid spring and then my 1 year update at the end of summer.
